White wines are more preferred than red wines during spring and summer because of the delicate taste it offers. There come in many kinds that are served at home or at restaurants to be paired with certain dishes. They can either be dessert wines or healthy starters. The latter typically comes in the form of aperitifs which are usually served before a meal in order to stimulate a person’s appetite. They are regularly dished up with a small amount of food such as cheese and crackers.
Common examples of white wines served up as aperitifs are fortified wines like Sherry and dry champagne like Chardonnay. They are frequently provided in small amounts and almost always taste very sweet.
